A Mass of Christian Burial for Lou Ann Guillot Clement, 73, of Morse, will be celebrated on Thursday, Dec. 11, at 10 a.m. in Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Morse. 

Father Clint Trahan will serve as celebrant. Interment will follow in Istre Cemetery, Morse.

Visitation will begin on Wednesday, Dec. 10, from 9 a.m. in Duhon Funeral Home, Crowley, and will continue all night until Thursday at 9:15 a.m. A rosary will be recited on Wednesday at 6 p.m. in the funeral home.

Mrs. Clement passed away on Monday, Dec. 8, 2014, at 8:25 p.m. in a Gueydan health care facility.

A native of Loreauville, Mrs. Clement was a longtime resident of Morse. She was a faithful member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church of Morse, and she lived out her faith through her church attendance and by praying the rosary often. Her greatest joy in life was spending time with and caring for her family.

Survivors include her husband of over 54 years, Wilbert Clement of Morse; sons, Gilbert Clement of Morse, Patrick Clement of Morse, Carol J. Clement and wife Melisa of Morse and Gerald Clement and wife Stacey of Youngsville; sister, Shirley Maturin of Parks; brothers, Curtis Jule Guillot and wife Yvonne of Loreauville and Richard Guillot of Panama City, Florida; grandchildren, Kaleb Clement, Kristen Clement, Brett Clement, Allyson Clement, Abigail Clement, Allen Clement and Ashley Clement; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. 

Preceding Mrs. Clement in death were her parents, Odillion and Evelyn Gallier Guillot; and brother, Joseph Guillot.
