A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, Jan. 9, at Saint Lawrence Catholic Church for Louise Helen Thevis, 83, who died Thursday, Jan. 8, 2015, at the Acadia General Hospital in Crowley.
Fr. Joseph Tran, pastor, will celebrate the Mass. Visitation will be held at Saint Lawrence Catholic Church Friday from 9 a.m. until service time. The Rosary will be prayed at 10 a.m. Burial will follow in the Saint Lawrence Mausoleum.
She is survived by her two sisters, Dorothy A. Thevis of Crowley and Sister Agnes Leonard Thevis, CDP, of San Antonio, Texas.
She was preceded in death by her parents Peter and Maria Ronkartz Thevis; two sisters, Anna J. Thevis and Mary A. Thevis; and three brothers, John J. Thevis, Lawrence V. Thevis and Leonard “Boy” Thevis.
