Marguerite B. Morgan

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Monday, Aug. 4, at 10 a.m. at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church in Crowley for Marguerite B. Morgan, 82, who died Saturday, Aug. 2, 2014, at 1:40 a.m. in Ebenezer surrounded by her loving family.

Fr. Matthew Higginbotham, pastor of Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church, will officiate for the services. The family requests visiting hours Sunday from 1 p.m. to 9 p.m. and Monday from 8 a.m. to 9:45 a.m. A rosary will be recited Sunday at 6:30 p.m. at the funeral home.

Burial will be in Ebenezer Community Cemetery.

Mrs. Morgan is survived by her husband of 63 years, Sheron N. Morgan of Ebenezer; three daughters, Karen M. Trahan and husband Jeffrey of Ebenezer, Brenda M. McCall and husband Wayne of Ebenezer, Sonya M. Zaunbrecher and husband Todd of Rayne; two sons, Randy Morgan and wife Kim of Jacksonville, Forida, Wendell Morgan and wife Anna of Zachary; two brothers, Travis Boudreaux of Crowley, Whitney Boudreaux of New Iberia; one sister, Irma B. Stutes of Lake Charles; 14 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Whitney and Lena Atchetee Boudreaux; two sisters, Frances Boudreaux and Cindy Quebodeaux; two brothers, J. C. Boudreaux and Roy Boudreaux.

Pallbearers will be Wayne McCall, Corde McCall, Todd Zaunbrecher, Steven Zaunbrecher, Blake Zaunbrecher, Jared Medus. 

The family wishes to thank Dr. M. N. Katira, Hospice of Acadiana and her caregivers for their love, support and care of Mrs. Morgan.
