Mary Biadeaux Bearb
Rayne, LA - A Mass of Christian Burial for Mary Biadeaux Bearb, 91, of Rayne will be celebrated on Saturday, October 24, 2015 at 2:00 P.M. in St. Joseph Catholic Church. Father Samuel Fontana, Associate Pastor of St. Joseph Catholic Church, will serve as celebrant. Interment will follow in St. Theresa Catholic Cemetery, Duson.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 23, 2015 from 2:00 P.M. until 9:00 P.M. in Gossen Funeral Home, Rayne, with a rosary being recited at 7:00 P.M. Visitation will resume on Saturday from 8:00 A.M. until 1:30 P.M. in the funeral home.
Mrs. Bearb passed away on Thursday, October 22, 2015 at 7:22 A.M. in a Lafayette hospital.
A native and lifelong resident of the Rayne/Acadia Parish area, Mrs. Bearb was a faithful member of St. Joseph Catholic Church. She enjoyed listening and dancing to French music. Mrs. Bearb's greatest joy in life was being with and caring for her family.
Survivors include her daughter, Judy Bearb Mouton and husband, James of Rayne; son, Melvin V. Bearb and wife, Jennette of Rayne; sister, Ozite Daigle of Rayne; sister-in-law, Willie Dell Navarre of Rayne; grandchildren, Terry Bearb, Tony Bearb and wife, April, Jamie Babineaux and husband, Benjy, Joni Mouton, and Janee Mouton; great-grandchildren, Blaze Stutes, T.J. Bearb, Ethan Bearb, Trent Mouton and wife, Haley, Tucker Babineaux, Jasmine Mouton, Jarred Mouton, Briley Mouton, Ramsie Mouton, Tristan Mouton, and Tanzie Mouton; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
Preceding Mrs. Bearb in death were her husband, Sylvin Bearb; parents Artelle and Josephine Alleman Biadeaux; sisters, Bertha Blanchard, Ernestine Dupuis, and Rena Dugas; and brothers, Gustave Cahanin, Russo Cahanin, and Claude Cahanin.
Serving as pallbearers are Tony Bearb, T.J. Bearb, Ethan Bearb, Jarred Mouton, Trent Mouton, and Tucker Babineaux.
