Mary Etta Senegal Coleman

Funeral services for Mary Etta Senegal Coleman, 80, will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, May 28, at Starlight Baptist Church with Rev. Cozy Gage officiating.
Burial will be at Rayne Community Garden Cemetery.
Mrs. Coleman died at 9:01 p.m. Friday, May 20, 2016, at Lafayette General Hospital.
The family has requested visitation be observed from 9 a.m. until the time of services Saturday at the church.
She is survived by her husband, Ronald Coleman of Crowley; two sons, Tony Dwayne Senegal of Rayne and Kenneth J. Senegal of Missouri City, Texas; one daughter, Romy D. Coleman of Rayne; 16 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; one sister, Yvette Senegal of Rayne; two aunts, Beatruce and Annie Mae Nickson of Rayne; and one uncle, Hubbie Wilridge of Crowley.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Charity Guidry; father, Morris Senegal; and grandparents, Laura and Jimmy Barkley.
Mrs. Coleman was the first president of the Acadia Parish Training School/Armstrong High School Reunion Committee.
Frank Brothers Funeral Home in Eunice is in charge of arrangements.
