Rayne, LA - Funeral services will be held at Assumption of the BVM Catholic Church, Mire, LA, Wednesday,  August 27, 2014 at 1:30 pm for Melissa Ann Alleman, 47, who died Monday, August 25, 2014 in Acadia General Hospital in Crowley, LA.
 
Interment will be in the St. Joseph Cemetery #2, Mausoleum, Rayne, LA.
 
Surviving are maternal grandfather, Louis Dugas, of  Mire, LA, her aunt and uncle who took care of her, Patricia "Pat" Dugas Miller and husband Roy Miller of Mire, LA.
 
She was preceded in death by father, Joseph "J.B." Baptist Alleman, mother, Diana Faye Dugas Boullion, one brother, Kendal Louis Alleman, Maternal grandmother, Loretta Comeaux Dugas, paternal grandparents, John and Theresa Leger Alleman.
 
A rosary will be recited on Tuesday, August 26, 2014 at 7:00 pm and Wednesday, August 27, 2014 at 10:00 am at Gossen Funeral Home, Rayne, LA.
 
Friends will be received at Gossen Funeral Home, Inc., Rayne, LA. Tuesday, August 26, 2014 from 5:00 pm until 9:00 pm and Wednesday, August 27, 2014 from 8:00 am until 1:00 pm.
 
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Southern Comfort Center, 128 Asset Ave., Scott, LA 70583.
