Ms. Audrey Bernard

A Celebration of Life was held for Ms. Audrey Bernard at 11 a.m. Saturday, June 7, at Greater Love Worship Center, located at 1001 N. Avenue E in Crowley. She was buried in West Crowley Cemetery. Rev. Kevin Brown officiated the service.

Left to cherish her memory are three sons, Cedric (Carondelet) Garrett of Lafayette, Marcus S. Garrett of Crowley and Jeremy K. Garrett of Rayne; two brothers, Gerald (Verlie) Garrick of Crowley and Carol Garrick of Los Angeles, California; two sisters, Caroline Jones of Oklahoma City, California, and Dorothy (Franklin) Melton of Palo Alto, California; seven grandchildren, one great-grandchild, and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Bernard; parents, Vincent and Doris Scott Garrick; brothers, Kelly, Lee, Hillman, Crosby, Heyman and Bobby; and sisters Nettis Martin, Geraldine Alexander, Thelma Garrick, Ada Bias and Lelia Garrett.

Viewing was held Saturday, June 7, from, 8 a.m. until the time of service at Greater Love Worship Center.

Kinchen Funeral Home, Inc., of Lafayette is in charge of final arrangements.
