Natasha “Tasha” Leah Patin

It’s with great sadness and heavy hearts that the family of Natasha “Tasha” Patin announces her passing from this life on Dec. 16, 2014, at the age of 39.

Tasha was born in Lake Charles, to the late Calvin Lee Dupont and Gertrude Benoit Dupont on Jan. 20, 1975. She was a homemaker and devoted her life to the care of her family. Tasha also loved the outdoors and she loved hunting. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Tasha is survived by her husband, Chad Patin of Goldonna; her son, Chad “CJ” Patin Jr. of Goldonna; three brothers, Mark Dupont of Crowley, Malcolm “Moose” Dupont of Jennings and Calvin Dupont Jr. “Bitsy” of Midland; and one sister, Cheryl Fontenot of Jennings.

Tasha was preceded in death by her father, Calvin Lee Dupont; her daughter, Myles Nicole Dupont; and one brother, Richard Wayne Dupont.

Funeral services will be held at Matthews and Son Funeral Home Chapel in Jennings on Saturday, Dec. 20, at 11 a.m. with Father Susil Fernando officiating. Burial will follow in Mermentau Cemetery.

A gathering of family and friends will be held at Matthews & Son Funeral Home in Jennings on Friday, Dec. 19, from 2:30 p.m. until 9 p.m. with a rosary recited at 5 p.m. Visitation will resume on Saturday, Dec. 20, at 9 a.m. until the time of her service at 11 a.m.
