Nettie Chiasson Faulk

Rayne, LA - Funeral services will be held at Gossen Funeral Home Chapel, Tuesday, December 10, 2013 at 10:00 am for Nettie Chiasson Faulk , 79 who died Saturday, December 7, 2013.

Interment will be in St. Joseph Cemetery #2.

Surviving are her husband of 60 years Norman Faulk; three sons, Fred Faulk and wife Wendy, Steve Faulk and wife Natalie, and Scott Faulk and wife Brandy; 11 Grandchildren, Barry Faulk, Lauren Faulk, James Faulk, Jonah Faulk, Emily Faulk, Taylor Anne Faulk, D. J. Faulk, Michael Faulk, Tyler Faulk, Aaron Faulk and Toby Faulk; three Great-Grandchildren, Taylor Elizabeth Faulk, Brayden James Faulk and Ryan Faulk; one sister-in-law, Nola G. Chiasson.

She was preceded in death by her parents Joseph and Nathile Arabie Chiasson; two infant sons Frank Joseph Faulk and Gerald John Faulk; four sisters, Lucille C. Roy, Agatha C. Hank, Effie C. Hanks and Thelma Chiasson; two brothers, Lloyd T. Chiasson and Nolton Chiasson.

She was a member of the Ladies Alter Society.

She worked as a Manager at Worthmore's 5 & 10, as well a typist for various abstracters in the area for many years. She was also a personal secretary to Acadia Parish Sheriff Elton A. Arceneaux for four years.

Friends will be received Monday, December 09, 2013 from 1:00 pm until 9:00 pm & Tuesday, December 10, 2013 from 8:00 am until 10:00 am at Gossen Funeral Home, Inc., Rayne, LA. A Rosary will be recited at 6:00 pm Monday, December 09, 2013.
