Priscilla Grace Perron Fontenot

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, December 18, 2013 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Iota for Priscilla Grace Perron Fontenot, 86, who died December 16, 2013 in Iota.

Fr. Mikel Polson, pastor of St. Michael Catholic Church in Crowley will be officiating for the services with Fr. Jude Thierry, pastor of St. Joseph Catholic Church concelebrating. The family is requesting visiting hours to be held Tuesday from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. and Wednesday from 9 a.m. to the time of service. A rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. Tuesday. Interment will be in St. Joseph Mausoleum in Iota.

She is survived by her husband of 67 years, Toby Fontenot of Iota; one daughter, Sharron Bergeron and her fiancé Curtis Janice of Lafayette; three granddaughters, Angela Thibodeaux and her husband, Adam of Ridge, Amy Braquet and her husband, John of Rayne, and Allison Burke and her husband, Cliff of Scott; seven great-grandchildren, Owen Thibodeaux, Jude Thibodeaux, Olivia Thibodeaux, Andrew Braquet, Luke Braquet, Reid Bourgeois, and Elise Bourgeois; two nieces; and three nephews.

Mrs. Fontenot is preceded in death by her parents, Duclide and Rose Perron; and two brothers, J.C. Perron, and Buford Perron.

Pallbearers will be Adam Thibodeaux, John Braquet, Cliff Burke, Kirk Perron, Joey Perron, and Greg Perron.

Honorary pallbearers will be Owen Thibodeaux, Jude Thibodeaux, Reid Bourgois, and Curtis Janice.
