Rayne, LA - Funeral services will be held at Our Mother of Mercy Catholic Church, Saturday, September 6, 2014 at 11:30 am for Rolland  Sonnier , 89, who died Monday, September 1, 2014 in Lafayette General Medical Center in Lafayette, LA.
 
Interment will be in the Our Mother of Mercy Cemetery, Rayne, LA.
 
Surviving are one brother, Edward Sonnier of Rayne, LA.
 
He was preceded in death by one son, Tyrone Hall, parents, Abraham Sonnier and Mary Gallien Sonnier, eight sisters, Ada Sonnier, Ida Batiste, Florence Granger, Lillian Phillips, Leola Rubin, Pearl Taylor, Ethel Antoine, Rosa Goodwill, two brothers, Emile Sonnier, brother, Paul Sonnier.
 
A rosary will be recited Saturday, September 6, 2014 at Gossen Funeral Home in Rayne, LA.
 
Friends will be received at Gossen Funeral Home, Inc., Rayne, LA Saturday, September 06, 2014 from 8:30 am until 11:00 am.
