Rose Marie Reiners Zaunbrecher

A Mass of Christian Burial was held Tuesday, Oct. 1, 2013, at 3:00 p.m. at St. Leo IV Catholic Church in Roberts Cove for Rose Marie Reiners Zaunbrecher, 71, who died Sunday, Sept. 29, 2013, at 8:33 a.m. at American Legion Hospital in Crowley.

Fr. Mikel Polson, pastor of St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church, officiated the services. 

The family requested visiting hours Monday from 5:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. and Tuesday from 9:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Rosaries were recited Monday at 7 p.m. and 10:00 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. 

Burial was in St. Leo IV Catholic Church Cemetery.

Mrs. Zaunbrecher is survived by her husband, Steve Zaunbrecher of Roberts Cove; two daughters, Sandy Whiting and her husband, John, of Roberts Cove, Gretchen Zaunbrecher of Roberts Cove; one son, Quentin Zaunbrecher and his wife, Roxanne, of Roberts Cove; one sister, Mary R. Cramer of Roberts Cove; one brother, Herman Reiners, Jr. of Roberts Cove; seven grandchildren, Katie Whiting, Rebecca Whiting, Emily Whiting, Kortney Zaunbrecher, Payton Zaunbrecher, Cole Zaunbrecher and Dustin Zaunbrecher.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Herman and Willie Mae Reed Reiners; one brother, William Reiners; and infant sister, Anna Marie Reiners.

The family requested memorial contributions be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital or your favorite charity in memory of Mrs. Zaunbrecher.
