Ruby L. Roberts

Funeral services for Ruby L. Roberts, 65, will be held Saturday, March 28, 2015, at 10 a.m. at Our Mother of Mercy Catholic Church in Rayne.
A wake will be held at Wilturner Funeral Home of Crowley on Saturday, March 28, between 8 a.m. and 9:30 a.m.
She was a lifelong resident of Rayne and an active member of her church.
She is survived by her husband, Darrell Roberts, Sr.; eight children, Darrell Roberts, Jr., Darren Roberts, Darlene Roberts, Andre Martin, Delphina Roberts, Danielle Roberts, Derrick Roberts and Naomi Dugas; three stepchildren, Michelle Dugas, Shantel Dugas and Darrell Dugas, Sr., all of Rayne; one brother, Wilson Benoit of Scott; one sister, Shirley Beverly of Crowley; 35 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Samuel and Yola Dugas; her grandson, Cord Roberts; and three sisters, Ruby Phillips, Betty Dugas and Gloria Dugas.
Wilturner Funeral Home of Crowley is in charge of funeral arrangements.
