Funeral services will be held for Ruth F. Suire, 94, at 11 a.m. on Monday Jan. 12, at Duhon Funeral Home Chapel, Crowley, with Rev. Loyd Singley, pastor of Northside Assembly of God in Crowley, officiating.
Visitation will begin at 10:30 a.m. Sunday, Jan. 11, and continue until 8 p.m. and will resume at 8 a.m. on Monday, Jan. 12, until just prior to service time.
Mrs. Suire passed away on Friday, Jan. 9, 2015, at Southwind Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Crowley.
She is survived by children, Sandra S. Hanks and husband Lawrence of Crowley, Curnis “Nookie” Suire Sr. and wife Loretta of Crowley, Abbie Suire of Crowley and Ricky Suire, also of Crowley; 20 grandchildren, 36 great grandchildren and numerous great-great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Victor Suire; son, Montgomery “Buddy” Suire; granddaughter, Vicky Suire; parents, Frank Fontenot and Emily Schexnayder Fontenot; three brothers and four sisters.
Pallbearers will be Curnis Suire Jr., Robert Suire, Michael Hunt, Montgomery Hanks, Dwayne Hanks and Bradley Hanks.
