Ryder Scot Trull

On Wednesday, Feb. 17, 2016, angels lifted Ryder Trull through the gates of heaven, following his valiant nine-month battle against acute myelogenous leukemia (AML) at Texas Children’s Hospital in Houston, where he was surrounded by his parents and family. His short two years of life were punctuated by so many momentous events, which are now the cherished memories of his life in our family.
Born on Christmas Day 2013, to the delight of his parents, Ryder was the long-awaited blessing they had fervently prayed for, made all the more special because he shared his birthday with Jesus. Several weeks after his birth, family and friends joined with the proud parents as Ryder was dedicated to The Lord with the entire congregation at Our Savior’s Church in Lafayette. As Kayla and Nathan began their life as parents, they held so many hopes and aspirations for Ryder’s future.
