Theresa Dies Perusin
Arrangements have been entrusted to Geesey-Ferguson Funeral Home of Crowley.
Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 30, at Geesey-Ferguson Funeral Home in Crowley for Theresa Dies Perusin, 78, who died Dec. 28, 2014, at Acadia General Hospital in Crowley.
Rev. Larry Evans, associate pastor of First Baptist Church in Crowley, will be officiating for the services. At the family’s request, visiting hours were held Monday from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. and will resume on Tuesday from 8 a.m. to the time of service.
Interment will be in Woodlawn Cemetery.
Ms. Perusin’s passion was sewing, cooking and, most importantly, spending time with her grandchildren. She will be dearly missed by her family and friends.
She is survived by three daughters, Henrietta Wilkinson and husband Robert Sr. of Sterling, Virginia, Theresa Lynn Perusin of Crowley, and Delilah Marie Perusin and husband David LeDoux of Rayne; two sons, Timothy James Perusin and wife,Deborah of Scott, and Stephen Mark Perusin and wife Tracy of Cape May, New Jersey; one sister, Mable Dies Cormier of Crowley; 10 grandchildren, Robert Wilkinson Jr., Richard Wilkinson, Cody Perusin, Antonio Perusin, Kayla Smith, Ashley Perusin, Katelyn LeDoux, Nicholas Perusin, Zachary Perusin, and Jackson Perusin; and five great-grandchildren.
Ms. Perusin is preceded in death by her husband, James Collins Perusin; her parents, Oscar and Helena Quebodeaux Dies; two sisters, Ethel Aguillard, and Viola Dies; and four brothers, Noah Dies, Joseph Dies, Clyde Dies, and Oscar Dies.
