Vicki Ramos
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, April 7, at Geesey-Ferguson Funeral Home Chapel for Vicki Ramos, who died peacefully, surrounded by her family April 4, 2015, in Houston, Texas
Fr. Mark Miley, associate pastor of St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church, will be officiating for the services. The family requested visiting hours be held Monday from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. and continue Tuesday from 8 a.m. until service time. A rosary was recited at 6 p.m. Monday. Interment will be in Woodlawn Cemetery.
Vicki was born May 20, 1948, in New Orleans. She owned and operated her family bakery, Ruddock’s Bakery in Crowley. She was a loving, devoted daughter, proud mother, wonderful sister and loyal friend. Her energetic spirit and vivaciousness were second to none. She was always happy and excited for what was next in her life. Her brilliant light was extinguished much too soon. She will be sadly missed.
She is survived by her daughter, Rachele Renfrow and husband Robert of Needville, Texas; her mother, Lucille Oncale of Crowley; two sisters, Carol McInnis and husband Gary of Baton Rouge and Bernadette Ramos of Atlanta, Georgia; and many loving nieces and nephews.
Vicki is preceded in death by her father, Desiderio Ramos; and a brother, Desi Ramos Jr.
