Vivian Lucille Andrus Curtis

Rayne – Funeral services for Mrs. Vivian Lucille Andrus Curtis, 77, of Rayne will be held on Tuesday,  June 3, 2014, at 2:00 p.m. at the Elizabeth Memorial Baptist Church, Branch, LA.  Reverend Kevin Colston will officiate with interment to follow in Elizabeth Memorial Baptist Cemetery.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 3, 2014, at the Elizabeth Memorial Baptist Church from 9:00 a.m. until time of services.
Mrs. Curtis passed away on Monday, June 2, 2014, at the Rayne Guest Home.
She was a retired registered nurse from Moosa Memorial Hospital in Eunice, LA and also worked at Lafayette General Medical Center in Lafayette, LA.
Survivors include her 4 sisters, Barbara and husband Donald Hoffpauir of Rayne, Carol and husband Frank Vienne of Houston, TX, Loretta and husband Robert Hornsby of Whitehall, AR, and Joy and husband Harry Hopkins of Erwinville, LA, and her 2 brothers, Roland Andrus of Church Point and Gerald Andrus of Lafayette.  She is also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
Preceding her in death is her daughter, Christa Mae Sonnier, her parents, Thomas Bruce and Jessie Eula Richard Andrus and beloved sister-in-law, Patricia Smith Andrus.
The family has requested that, in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital in memory of Christa Mae Sonnier or Elizabeth Memorial Baptist Church.
The family wishes to thank the nurses and staff at Rayne Guest Home, Dr. Thomas Curtis, Jr., and Charlene Cormier for their compassionate care.
Pallbearers will be Lance Hopkins, Kyle Hoffpauir, Mitch Andrus, Jordan Andrus, Brad Andrus, and Valjene Richard. Honorary pallbearers will be Jade Andrus, Jeff Andrus, Jarrod Pharr, Brian Hornsby,  Todd Hoffpauir, John Hoffpauir, Hilton Quebodeaux, Danny Richard, and Gary Richard.
