Willa Dean Simon Benoit

A Memorial Mass will be held at 5 p.m. Friday, Oct. 2, at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church for Willa Dean Simon Benoit, 59, who died at 8:02 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 30, 2015, at her residence in Crowley.
Fr. Clint Trahan will celebrate the Mass. Burial will follow in the St. John the Baptist Cemetery.
She is survived by her daughter, Tasa Woods of Carencro; her son, Tyce Benoit of Carencro; her mother, Lovenia Abshire Simon of Morse; her brother, Darrell “Tee” Simon and wife Andrea of Crowley; four nieces and nephews, Kendra S. Duplechain, Dale Simon Jr. and wife Amanda, Patrick John Simon and Andrew Simon; three great nephews, Collin Duplechain, Dale Simon III and Dax Simon.
She was preceded in death by her father, Curtis John Simon; her daughter, Tyra Simon; and a grandson, Kyler Simon.
