Funeral services for Willard E. Bertrand Jr., 53, will be held at 10 a.m. on Thursday, Dec. 31, at Duhon Funeral Home, LLC-Crowley with Rev. Berl Adams officiating.
The visitation will begin at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 30, until 10 p.m. and will resume on Thursday at 8 a.m. until just prior to the time of service.
Interment will follow the chapel service and will be in Sensat Cemetery in Egan.
Mr. Bertrand passed away on Monday, Dec. 28, 2015, at his home in Crowley.
Mr. Bertrand is survived by his loving wife of 25 years, Cheryl Bertrand of Crowley; daughter, Angel Berry of Wilmar, California; son, Gary Berry of Crowley; brothers, Virgil Bertrand, Mark Bertrand and Danny Bertrand, all of Crowley; father, Willard Bertrand Sr. of Crowley; 11 grandchildren; as well as five great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his son, Keith Hollon; and his mother, Shirley Rose Bertrand.
Pallbearers will be Danny Bertrand, Mark Bertrand, Brycelyn Breaux, Lonnie Cashi, Richard Price and his best friend, Boo.
