Willis James Credeur

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, Sept. 29, at 10 a.m. at Gossen Funeral Home Chapel for Willis James Credeur, 68, who died Tuesday Sept. 27, 2016, at Rayne Guest Home.
Interment will be in the St. Joseph Cemetery #2 in Rayne.
Rev. Samuel Fontana of St. Joseph Catholic Church will be conducting the funeral services.
Survivors include his wife, Myrna Sue Soileaux Credeur of Rayne; son, Greg Credeur of Rayne; two sisters, Linda Credeur Faul and husband Alvin of Rayne, and Connie Credeur Anderson and husband David of Church Point; granddaughter, Mariette Credeur of Rayne; and grandson, Evan Credeur of Rayne.
He was preceded in death by a son, Sean Phillip Credeur; still-born baby girl; father, Bennett Credeur; mother, Bernice Owens Credeur; sister, Sally Credeur Sonnier; and brother, Harry Credeur.
Pallbearers will be Alvin Faul, David Faul, David Anderson, Sammy Hernandez, Lee Soileaux, and Richard “Buck” Soileaux.
Honorary pallbearers, Greg Credeur, Donald Sonnier.
A Rosary was prayed Wednesday at 6:30 p.m. in Gossen Funeral Home in Rayne.
Visitation began in Gossen Funeral Home on Wednesday, Sept. 28, from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. and continues Thursday, Sept. 29, from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m.
