Lady Rebels cruise past Elizabeth

 MIDLAND - If there’s one thing the Elizabeth Lady Bulldogs learned Tuesday night, it is that you can’t leave Midland’s Brooke Comeaux open behind the arch.
Comeaux torched the Bulldogs for seven three-pointers and a game-high 23 points in the Lady Rebels’ 53-28 victory over their Class C opponent.
Comeaux hit six of her seven 3-pointers in the first half and helped the Lady Rebels take a commanding 37-14 lead at the break.
Andrekia Allen got in on the action and drilled a 3-pointer in the third quarter and Bethany LeJeune scored four of her 10 points in the frame as the Lady Rebels outscored the visitors 12-8.
The Lady Rebels slowed the pace in the fourth quarter and were outscored 6-4.
Also contributing in the victory were Macy Hoffpauir with six points; Hannah Credeur, 5; Nicole Kraut, 4; Allen, 3 and Jade Boudreaux, two.
