Lady Warriors cruise past Beau Chene

CROWLEY – The Northside Christian Lady Warriors had an impressive performance in front of their home crowd Tuesday, sweeping swept Beau Chene, 3-0, in a non-district contest at Seth Trahan Memorial Gym.
The Lady Warriors (14-8) dominated the Lady Gators at the net by logging 29 kills on the night.
Junior middle hitter Kathryn Zaunbrecher led the charge with 15 kills while Madi Clement had five. Leah Monte and Victoria Monte followed with four each and Zoie Hanagriff had one.
Zaunbrecher also had three blocks and three digs; Clement had one ace, 12 digs and five assists; Leah Monte had thee aces and 11 digs; Victoria Monte had one block, one aces and three digs and Hanagriff had one ace and eight digs.
Also contributing in the victory were Chloe Dietz (7 aces, 3 digs, 11 assists), Meghan Vincent (27 digs), Sydni Guidry (2 digs, 3 assists), Brooke Stanford (1 ace, 2 digs) and Aubrey Armstrong (7 digs).
Other Action
In other local prep volleyball action, the Iota Lady Bulldogs defeated Northwest while Notre Dame fell to Barbe and Crowley was defeated by Rayne.
Unfortunately, no other information on those contests was made available by those schools.
