Rayne Recreation Department hosts ‘14 SuperBowl

PeeWee and Peanut League flag football players of the 2014 Rayne Recreation Program held its annual SuperBowl on Saturday, Nov. 15, at Gossen Memorial Park as announced by Rayne Recreation Director Dwayne Derise. Top plays and scoring included:
PeeWee League
In PeeWee action, the Nationals claimed an 18-0 win over the Americans in opening action of the day. John David Dupont scored a 15-yard TD run for the first score of the ballgame. Dylan Judice then scored from 30 yards out before the halftime break. Judice ending the scoring on a two-yard TD run for the win.
Peanut League
The Nationals shut out the Americans 20-0 in Peanut League action. Mak’hai Thompson ran in the first two touchdowns, from 30 and 10 yards out. Thompson then connected with Colin Moody for a 45-yard touchdown pass. The PAT was completed for the 20-0 win.
