VP City Court issues warrants for those who failed to appear

The following individuals failed to appear in the Ville Platte City Court.

Bench warrants have been issued by Judge Donald J. Launey Jr. for these individuals for their failure to appear in court on traffic tickets and other misdemeanor charges on November 5, 10, 12, 24, and 26, and December 1, 3, 10, and 17, 2008.

•Bennette Fontenot, 213 David St., Ville Platte, was charged with simple battery.

•James Fontenot, 148 Busy Lane, Ville Platte, was charged with simple battery.

•Jaran Fontenot, 222 S. Soileau St., Ville Platte, was charged with assault, disturbing the peace by appearing intoxicated and remaining after being forbidden.

•Wallace Griffith, aka Housen Leday, 1026 W. Peach St., Ville Platte, was charged with disturbing the peace.

•Cassius Johnson, 810 N. Chataignier St., Ville Platte, was charged with expired inspection sticker.

•Alan Thomas, 29211 S. Palmetto Road, Walker, was charged with driving under suspension, no proof of insurance, no proof of registration and reckless operation.

•Terrence Thomas, 506 E. Railroad Ave., Ville Platte, was charged with criminal damage and simple battery.

•Derrick Alfred, 607 S. Louisiana Ave., Bunkie, was charged with driving under suspension, open container, disturbing the peace, expired inspection sticker, expired license plate and no insurance.

•Ricardo Constancio, 806 Leisure Run Cove, Austin, Texas, was charged with speeding and driving under suspension.

•Nathaniel Dick, 404 Court St., Ville Platte, was charged with curfew violation.

•Derrick Dupre, 1706 Old Park Road, Ville Platte, was charged with no seat belt.

•Donald Fontenot, 122 Demoruelle St., Ville Platte, was charged with no driver’s license and no seat belt.

•Kizzie Fontenot, 806 N. Latour St., #25, Ville Platte, was charged with simple battery.

•Mitch Fontenot, 148 Bussy Lane, Ville Platte, was charged with simple battery.

•Virgie Fontenot, 806 N. Latour St., #25, Ville Platte, was charged with simple battery.

•Shumanda Jack, 121 E. Beauregard St., Ville Platte, was charged with no seat belt and contempt of court.

•Brittany Jones, 908 Martin Luther King Drive, Ville Platte, was charged with disturbing the peace by fighting.

•Mary Lafleur, 319 Aajase Road, Washington, was charged with no seat belt.

•Kristin LaHaye, 312 Belaire Cove Road, Ville Platte, was charged with no seat belt.

•Rachel Stewart, 111 W. Beauregard St., #13, Ville Platte, was charged with telephone harassment and peeping Tom.

•Joseph Thomas, 1816 Clement St., Ville Platte, was charged with curfew violation.

•Milton Thomas, 208 N. Dupre St., Ville Platte, was charged with criminal damage to property.

•Nicholas Thomas, 1308 Peach St., Ville Platte, was charged with no seat belt.

•Brody Vidrine, 160 Shuff Road, Ville Platte, was charged with no seat belt.

•Elsie Vidrine, 214 Evangeline St., Ville Platte, was charged with failure to yield left/intersection with an accident.

•Christopher Wilson, 1784 Wilson Campbell Road, Ville Platte, was charged with disobeying a stop sign and driving under suspension.

•Trivinskiey L. Ardoin, 313 W. Huey P. Long St., Ville Platte, was charged with battery.

•Damian Ardoin, 317 W. Beauregard St., Ville Platte, was charged with criminal damage, criminal trespass and disturbing the peace.

•Jaonnie Arvie, 6582 Pine Point Road, Ville Platte, was charged with possession of marijuana and speeding.

•Michael Bushnell, 1006 Booker T, Ville Platte, was charged with disturbing the peace and remaining after being forbidden.

•Joshua Deshotel, 1430 Fifth St., Pine Prairie, was charged with no driver’s license in possession, contempt of court and speeding.

•Shawana Deville, 2388 Woodman Drive, Ville Platte, was charged with simple battery (two counts).

•Marchon Doucet, 115 E. Desoto St., Ville Platte, was charged with possession of marijuana.

•Daniel Frank, 402 E. LaSalle St., Ville Platte, was charged with speeding, no driver’s license and contempt of court.

•Scott Fuselier, 275 Leon St., Ville Platte, was charged with disturbing the peace, resisting an officer and disturbing the peace by appearing intoxicated.

•Jason Guillory, 1580 Blue Springs Road, Ville Platte, was charged with speeding.

•Trinetta Guillory, 713 Rozas St., Ville Platte, was charged with possession of marijuana (three counts).

•Trinicia Hebert, 920 W. Long St., #28, Ville Platte, was charged with contempt of court and disturbing the peace.

•Olivia Hebert, 1114 Verna St., #211, Ville Platte, was charged with failure to yield intersection and contributing to the delinquency.

•Clayton Jack Jr., 609 N. Dupre St., Apt. 167, Ville Platte, was charged with resisting arrest, disturbing the peace by appearing intoxicated, aggravated assault and remaining after being forbidden.

•Willie Jones, 908 Martin Luther King Drive, Ville Platte, was charged with simple battery, disturbing the peace and aggravated assault.

•Eric Rider, 220 Prairie Dale Road, Ville Platte, was charged with no driver’s license, open container, no child restraint, reckless operation and child endangerment.

•Brittany Semien, 212 Roderick St., Ville Platte, was charged with disturbing the peace.

•Austin Stiver, 2479 St. Landry Hwy., St. Landry, was charged with improper parking and no seat belt.

•Tony Vidrine, 160 Shuff Road, Ville Platte, was charged with DWI.

•Galvis Ardoin, 313 N. Soileau St., Ville Platte, was charged with theft of goods and contempt of court.

•Michael Jody Bertrand, 316 W. Desoto St., Ville Platte, was charged with failure to yield, no driver’s license and theft by shoplifting.

•Theresa Chapman, 605 N. Soileau St., #150, Ville Platte, was charged with theft.

•Derek Clark, 1129 Jeremy Cole Road, Ville Platte, was charged with contempt of court and expired inspection sticker.

•Thomas Echols Jr., 1005 N. Reed St., Ville Platte, was charged with disturbing the peace by appearing intoxicated and contempt of court.

•Dawna Fontenot, 220 Johnson Road, Ville Platte, was charged with no seat belt.

•Latricia Fontenot, 716 W. Oak St., Ville Platte, was charged with contempt of court, no driver’s license and battery.

•Remus Hack, 411 W. Hickory St., Ville Platte, was charged with contributing to the delinquency of a minor and contempt of court.

•Richard Herboldsheimer, 1823 Hale Road, Ville Platte, was charged with no seat belt and contempt of court.

•Gregory Jack, 307 N. Wilson St., Ville Platte, was charged with theft.

•James Jackson, 1622 N. Liberty, Opelousas, was charged with simple drunk, disturbing the peace, remaining after being forbidden and contempt of court.

•Floyd Lewis, 114 E. Oak St., Ville Platte, was charged with disturbing the peace and contempt of court.

•Lannis Melvin, 421 W. Cypress St., Ville Platte, was charged with disturbing the peace, contempt of court, threatening a police officer, disturbing the peace, resisting an officer, contempt of court, open container, careless operation, resisting arrest by flight, open container and contempt of court.

•Charles Menier, 1030 Rockpit Road, Ville Platte, was charged with issuing a worthless check and contempt of court.

•Darrell Wilson, 425 Martin Luther King, Ville Platte, was charged with battery.

•Christina Vories, 411 N. Chataignier St., Ville Platte, was charged with disturbing the peace by fighting.

•Dianne Williams, 1856 State Ave., Ville Platte, was charged with theft by shoplifting.
