Duoses announce engagement of daughter

Dr. and Mrs. Clay M. Duos of Eunice are pleased to announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Dr. Caroline Kay Duos, to Dr. Mathew John Mazoch, son of Drs. John Mazoch and Cheryl Hedlund of Beuche.

Dr. Duos is the granddaughter of Clarice Zaunbrecher Lejeune and the late Rodney W. Lejeune and the late Mr. and Mrs. Clabert Duos.

The bride-elect is a graduate of Iota High School and Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge, where she earned a Bachelor of Science degree in biological sciences. She received a Doctorate of Medicine degree from LSU Medical School in Shreveport. She is currently doing her pediatric residency in Little Rock, Ark.

Dr. Mazoch is the grandson of Dr. and Mrs. Harold Hedlund, and Mrs. Ann Mazoch and the late I.J. Mazoch.

The groom-elect is a graduate of Catholic High-Baton Rouge and Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge, where he received a Bachelor of Science degree in biological sciences and minors in business and psychology. He received a Doctorate of Medicine degree from LSU Medical School in Shreveport. He is currently doing his orthopedic residency in Little Rock, Ark.

The couple will exchange wedding vows on Saturday, May 12, at 6:30 p.m. at St. Thomas More Catholic Church in Eunice.
