Isaac Lejeune

CROWLEY – Funeral services will be Thursday, September 3, 2009 at 1 p.m. at the Duhon Funeral Home Chapel in Crowley, La. for Isaac “Manoon” Lejeune, 71, who passed away Tuesday, September 1, 2009 at 1 a.m. at his home in Estherwood, La.

Survivors include four sons, Thomas and his wife Lisa Lejeune, of Crowley, La., Dolan and his wife Elizabeth Lejeune, of Estherwood, La., Derwin and his wife JoAnn Lejeune, of Morse, La., and Dexter and his wife Dawn Lejeune, of Crowley, La.; four stepsons, Bryan Lejeune, of Crowley, La., Chadwick and Laura Lejeune, of Ebenezer, La, Shane and Michelle Lejeune, of Crowley, La., Jean Derek Lejeune, of Crowley, La., one stepdaughter, Nicole Guidry, of Crowley, La.; seventeen grandchildren; one great-granddaughter; one brother, Jimmy Lejeune, of Estherwood, La.; and one sister, Carrie Meche, of Estherwood, La.

Mr. Lejeune is preceded in death by his parents, John and Lorena Lejeune; his first wife, Mary Ann Guidry Lejeune; and his special friend Hazel Trahan.

Visitation will be Wednesday, September 2, 2009 from 2 p.m. till 10 p.m. then Thursday from 8 a.m. until the time of services. A rosary will be recited at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday evening in the Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in Estherwood Cemetery, in Estherwood, La. under the direction of Duhon Funeral Home, L.L.C.
