‘Five Friends’ exhibit opens at Gueydan Museum

On Sunday, Sept. 14, the Gueydan Museum held a reception to mark the opening of its upcoming exhibit, “Five Friends from Acadia Parish.” On hand for the event were four of the exhibiting artists, front row from left, Shirley Griffin, Juanita Morrow; back row, Harold Letz and Mary Oakley. Barbara “Bhi” Wooley’s work is being exhibited posthumously. The Gueydan Museum is located at 212 Main St. in Gueydan.
