Joyce Wingate Alleman  

Mire –– Funeral services were held at Assumption of the BVM Catholic Church, Thursday, October 10, 2013, at 2:00 p.m. for Joyce Wingate Alleman, 78, who died Wednesday, October 9, 2013 at her residence.
 Interment was in Assumption of the BVM Cemetery in Mire.
 Surviving are three sons, Michael Anthony Wingate and wife, Mary, of Rayne, Daniel Joseph Wingate and wife, Debra, of Higginbotham, Mark Wingate and wife, Cindy, of Sulphur: seven grandchildren, thirteen great-grandchildren; four sisters, Eva Constantine of Rayne, Louise Domingue and husband, Evan, of Scott, Ledia Mass of Sulphur, and Lee Stine and husband, Ken, of Sulphur; and two brothers, Leza Comeaux and wife, Shirley, of Sulphur, and Willie Comeaux of Sulphur.
 She was preceded in death by first husband, Rodney Wingate, Sr.; second husband, Clyde Alleman; one son, Rodney Wingate, Jr.; four sisters, Mary Richard, Armide Stelly, Bertha Constantine, and Lacy Menard; and four brothers, Nolton Comeaux, Carol Comeaux, Horace Comeaux, and Asa Comeaux.
 Friends were received at Gossen Funeral Home, Inc., Rayne, Thursday, October 10, 2013, from 8:00 a.m. until 1:30 p.m.
