Sharon Meaux Stoute

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, June 14, at St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church for Sharon Meaux Stoute, 49, who died peacefully at 11:03 a.m. Friday, June 13, 2014, at her residence surrounded by her family.

Fr. Mark Miley will celebrate the Mass and the committal services will follow at the Woodlawn Cemetery. Visitation may be observed on Friday from 5 p.m. until service time Saturday. The Rosary will be prayed at 6 p.m. Friday.

She is survived by her husband, Meldon J. Stoute Jr. of Crowley; a daughter, Mary Catherine Stoute of Crowley; a step-daughter, Jamielynn Marie Stoute of Eunice; a step-son, Meldon J. Stoute III of New Iberia; two grandsons, Levi and Able Leger; her mother, Umae Trahan Meaux; and two sisters, Sandra M. Dorr and husband Glenn and Vickie M. Faulk and husband Robert, all of Crowley.

She was preceded in death by her father, Michael Meaux, and her step-son, Dwayne Adam Stoute.
