The Rayne High Lady Wolves softball team began district play last week and their future is looking bright.
“We have a really young team with a lot of people in different positions,” stated Lady Wolves’ head coach Natalie Travasos. But, our girls work hard. They are showing improvement little by little -- everyday makes for a bright future.
The Lady Wolves recorded district wins over LaGrange and Washington-Marion during recent double-headers. They fell to DeRidder last week for a 4-1 district slate thus far.
They were scheduled to meet Crowley High Tuesday, then Leesville on March 29 and DeRidder on March 31, rounding games for next week.
