Ariel Mire, Ryan Broussard set to wed on September 21

IOTA - Ariel Michelle Mire and Ryan James Broussard, both of Scott, have announced their engagement and commitment to be wed on Saturday, Sept. 21, at Pointe aux Loups Springs Ballroom in Iota.

The bride-elect is the daughter of Pebbles and Corwin Mire of Rayne. She is the granddaughter of Lucy and Glen Kibodeaux, and Milton Mire and the late Ora Mire, all of Rayne.

Ariel graduated from Rayne High School in 2005 before obtaining an associate’s degree in general studies from South Louisiana Community College in Lafayette. She is presently employed by Cili Minerals in Lafayette.

The prospective groom is the son of Roxanne and Everett Broussard of Youngsville. He is the grandson of Joyce Stelly of Duson and Mr. and Mrs. Everett Broussard of Abbeville.

Ryan is a 2002 graduate of Erath High School and is currently employed with Exterran in Broussard.

Following their nuptials, the couple will reside in Scott.
