William Ross Broussard

Robbie and Mary Katherine Broussard of Rayne are announcing the birth of their first child, a son, William Ross, born at 6:12  p.m. on Sunday, Feb. 16, 2014, at Lafayette General Medical Center.

At birth, he weighed 8 pounds 9 ounces, and measured 21 inches in length.

Mrs. Broussard is the former Mary Katherine Cook, daughter of Robert and Karon Cook of Rayne, maternal grandparents.

Paternal grandparents are Greg and Joni Broussard of Estherwood.

Great-grandparents are Rosemary Curtis of Rayne, Idell Knepper of Estherwood, Robert Breaux of Lyons Point, the late Dr. C. Thomas Curtis, Louis and Josie Cook, JB and Gertrude Broussard and Paul Knepper.

Godparents are Rosemary Cook of Lafayette and John P. Leleux of Lyons Point.
