Brett Joseph Lantz

IOTA - A Mass of Christian Burial was held Monday, April 12, 2010 at 10 a.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Iota for Brett Joseph Lantz, 44, who died Wednesday, April 7, 2010 in Walker following a motorcycle accident.

He was native of Iota, and a resident of Walker at the time of his death. He was a graduate of Iota High School Class of 1984. He was employed as a mechanic with BP.

Fr. Mikel Polson, Pastor of St. Joseph Catholic Church, will officiate for the services. The family requested visiting hours Sunday from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. and Monday from 8:00 a.m. to service time. A rosary was recited Sunday at 6 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial was in St. Joseph Cemetery.

Brett is survived by one daughter, Haleigh Lantz of Walker; one son, Ethan Lantz of Walker; his parents, Jim and Cooter Lantz of Iota; three brothers, Brian Lantz of Biloxi, MS, Brandon Lantz of Iota and Brayson Lantz of Branch.
