Bruce and Rae Faulk celebrate 65 years as man and wife
CROWLEY - Alvin Bruce Faulk and Sybil Rae Reed Faulk celebrated 65 years of marriage Tuesday, August 30, 2011.
The young couple met and married in Crowley in 1946. They were married on August 30, 1946 by Pastor Osteen at the Church of the Nazarene parsonage in Crowley. They moved to Baton Rouge in December 1947 where Bruce worked for Exxon untul his retirement.
After retirement, Bruce and Rae moved back to their hometown of Crowley, where they currently reside.
They have been blessed by their two sons Haldor Lynn Faulk and his wife, Katy Michele Faulk of Liberty Hill, Texas and the late Wayne Bruce Faulk.
They have seven grandchildren. They are Stacey Faulk Scheffler and her husband, Robert, of Hutto, Texas; Timothy Faulk and wife, Rebecca, of Wichita, Kan; Terrell Faulk and wife, Robin, of Hutto; Reed Faulk, Matthew Faulk and Lauren Faulk, all of Liberty Hill; and the late Todd Richard Faulk.
The Faulks have four great grandchildren. They are Brandon Faulk of Hutto; Tori Faulk of Giddings, Texas; and Dalton Faulk and Hayden Faulk of Austin, Texas.
