Central Students Awarded Scooters

Central Rayne Kindergarten students have been working hard to achieve behavior incentives by earning STAR bucks for displaying leadership and positive behavior throughout each school day. Each week the student with the most STAR bucks in each class is rewarded with items chosen from the counselor’s prize box. Names are then entered for drawings for scooters and bikes. On Friday, Jan. 17, a drawing was held for four scooters with winners including, from left, Elton Latiolais, Kirsten Thibodeaux, Jude-Mikal Dupont, and Emily Johnson. The scooters were donated by Jim and April Mixon and Lynnie Heath.
