Cheerleaders bring home awards

The Notre Dame High School Cheerleaders for the 2013-14 school year recently attended the SCA Cheer Camp held at McNeese State University in Lake Charles.

The cheerleaders who attended the event were Caroline Bellard (mascot), Allie Wimberly, Shannon Spallino, Claire Brown, Michelle Leonards, Ahna Hudson, Mia Grissom, Tabitha Leonards, Madison Thibodeaux, Lizzie Robichaux, Julia Schmid, Madeline Barbin, Kylie Hebert, Hannah Stanford, Mary Frances Beslin, Elizabeth Ledet, Sarah Leonards, Maria Hundley, Sarah Thibodeaux, Megan Cassedy, Brianne Gary, Caroline Gielen, Natalie Kojis, Courtlyn Richard and Claire Lalande.

The squad placed first in the SCA Home Pom competition, second in the SCA Cheer competition and received the prestigious SCA Staff Award.

Additionally, All-American Awards went to Allie Wimberly, Claire Brown and Michelle Leonards.
