Evangeline Parish Sheriff’s Office lists 15 arrests

The Evangeline Parish Sheriff’s Office reported 15 bookings in the parish jail from April 1, through April 7.

Arrested were the following:

•Kenny Lynn Blood, 25, 1526 Redlick Road, Ville Platte, was charged April 1, with theft. Blood was released on a $10,000 bond.

•Merle Rusty Reed, 47, 2098 Deculus Road, Mamou, was charged April 1, with simple criminal damage to property, simple burglary and theft. Reed was released on a $10,000 bond.

•Ray Lewis Shepherd, 41, 819 Reed St., Ville Platte, was charged April 2, with no insurance, driving under suspension and failure to secure registration. Shepherd was released on a $741.50 bond.

•Derrick McKonderick Tezeno, 30, 501 N.E. Railroad St., Ville Platte, was charged April 2, with simple burglary, aggravated battery and obscenity. Bond was set at $20,000.

•Paul Armand Dupre, 42, 717 Andrew St., Opelousas, was charged April 3, with aggravated battery. Dupre was released on a $15,000 bond.

•Tammy Marie Wheeler, 41, 1113 East St., Mamou, was charged April 3, with cruelty to juveniles. Bond was set at $30,000.

•Curtis Dale Collins, 42, 1113 East St., Mamou, was charged April 3, with possession of a firearm by a convicted felon. Bond was set at $30,000.

•David Brent Lavergne, 49, 164 E. Ardoin, Lot #6, Eunice, was charged April 3, with unauthorized entry of an inhabited dwelling. Lavergne was released on a $2,500 bond.

•Skylar Brook Lejeune, 22, 151 Douget Road, Ville Platte, was charged April 4, with theft of utilities. Lejeune was released on a $1,000 bond.

•Joseph Sam Lejeune III, 29, 151 Douget Road, Ville Platte, was charged April 4, with theft of utilities. Lejeune was released on a $1,000 bond.

•David Martin Veillon, 45, 760 Tasso Loop, Eunice, was charged April 4, with disturbing the peace by intoxication. Veillon was released on a $500 bond.

•William Kawloski Alford, 25, 1058 JFK Blvd., Ville Platte, was charged April 5, with reckless operation, aggravated flight from an officer, disobeying a stop sign (three counts), no driver’s license and open container. Alford was released on a $1,001.50.

•Travis Anthony Deshotels, 26, 3708 Lanse Bleu Road, Ville Platte, was charged April 6, with simple burglary and theft over $500. Deshotels was released on a $10,000 bond.

•Clifton Joseph Johnson, 24, 741 Lewis St., Eunice, was charged April 7, with aggravated assault with a dangerous weapon and sexual battery. Bond was set at $90,000.

•Villman Botley Jr., 41, 111 Richardson St., Elton, was charged April 7, with driving under suspension, child desertion and simple criminal damage to property. Bond was set at $10,000.
