Lady Wolves to host Westlake

Rayne High will host Westlake High Monday afternoon in the regional round of the 2013 volleyball state playoffs.

The Lady Wolves entered the playoffs at the No. 8-seeded team as announced by the LHSAA after finishing runner-up of their district.

Drawing a bye in the first-round, the Lady Wolves will need a win Monday for a spot at the State Volleyball Tournament slated later this week at the Pontchartrain Center in Kenner (Nov. 14-16).

Westlake defeated No. 24-ranked Mansfield in their bi-district contest.

Volleyball action begins at 5:30 p.m. Monday afternoon at the RHS north gym.
