Jamie Istre, Bradley Beard engaged

Mr. and Mrs. Terry P. Istre of Crowley are pleased to announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Jamie, to Bradley Beard, son of Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Beard of Crowley.

The couple has plans to wed during a 7 p.m. ceremony on Saturday, November 8, 2008 at Our Lady Seat of Wisdom Chapel on the Notre Dame campus in Crowley.

Father Paul Metrejean will officiate the exchanging of their wedding vows.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mable Istre of Crowley and the late Thomas Istre and Mr. and Mrs. H.L. Marti of Crowley and the late Jean Mesnard.

Jamie is a graduate of Notre Dame High School. She also attended the University of Louisiana at Lafayette where she earned a degree in nursing, and is currently employed as a registered nurse with Iberia Medical Center.

The prospective groom is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. Arville Beard and the late Mr. and Mrs. Billy Lund, all of Crowley.

Bradley is a graduate of Notre Dame High School and Louisiana Tech University with a bachelor of science degree. He is currently employed with Halliburton’s Gulf of Mexico Laboratory as a lab technician.

Following the wedding the couple will reside in Youngsville.
