Jenna Laird, Marcus Leger announce their engagement

TALLULAH, LA. - Mr. and Mrs. James R. Laird of Tallulah, La. are pleased to announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Jenna Marie to Marcus Lawrence Leger, son of Mr. and Mrs. Lecaster Leger of Crowley.

Laird is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Gene E. Laird of Tallulah and the late Mr. and Mrs. Robert A. Geary, Jr. of Vicksburg, Miss. She is a graduate of Tallulah Academy and Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge where she received a Bachelor of Science in finance. She is also a graduate of the University of Arkansas at Little Rock’s Bowen School of Law where she received a Juris Doctor and the University of Arkansas at Little Rock where she received a Master of Business Administration. She is a member of the Louisiana bar.

Leger is the grandson of Mary Leen Leger and the late Norris B. Leger of Morse and Lydia Bull and the late Charles Bull, Sr. of Welsh. He is a graduate of Notre Dame High School and McNeese State University in Lake Charles where he received a Bachelor of Science in agricultural business.

The bride-elect and prospective groom are employed as independent consultants in the oil and gas industry.

A 2 p.m. nuptial mass is scheduled for November 6, 2010, at St. Paul Catholic Church in Vicksburg with a reception immediately following at the B’nai B’rith Literary Association building (the B.B. Club).
