Broussard, Deshotel to wed Saturday, June 6

Vickie and A.J. “Fatty” Broussard of Crowley are pleased to announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Erica Danielle Broussard, to Blake Anthony Deshotel of Crowley.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Anna Belle Bertrand and the late Alex Bertrand, and of the late Lorna “Lou” and Francis Fred Broussard, all of Crowley.
She is a 2008 graduate of Crowley High School and a 2012 graduate of South Louisiana Community College, where she earned a degree in business technology. Erica is currently employed at Broussard Poché, LLP.
The prospective groom is the son of Kitty and Troy Deshotel of Crowley. His maternal grandparents are Elrina Benoit of Gueydan and the late Lawrence E. Benoit Sr., and his paternal grandparents are James “Jimmy” Deshotel of Evangeline and the late Shirley Deshotel.
Blake attended Crowley High School and is currrently employed by Thibodeaux Ag Group.
The couple will be wed on Saturday, June 6, at First Presbyterian Church in Crowley. Rev. Jimmy Broussard will officiate the 6 p.m. nuptial ceremony.
