Lindsay Marie Broussard and Robert Joseph Randolph, both of Los Angeles, California, were joined in holy matrimony on the evening of Saturday, June 7, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Rayne. Fr. Gary Schexnayder officiated the 7 p.m. nuptial ceremony.

The bride is the daughter of Sandra and Jason Broussard of Crowley.

Her grandparents are Rita Adam of Crowley and the late Harold Adam, Laura and Sam Rosenbaum of Crowley and the late Paul Broussard.

Formerly of Crowley, Lindsay graduated from Notre Dame High School of Acadia Parish in 2006 before graduating from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette in 2011. She is presently employed as an accountant with MacPherson Energy in Santa Monica, California.

The groom is a 2001 graduate of Cape Central High School and a 2009 graduate of the University of Missouri. He is currently employed as a certified public accountant with Ernst and Young in Los Angeles.

Guests were ushered to their seats by Brian Emmendorfer, Jared Holloway, Kenny Schmitz and Zach Williams, friends of the groom.

Musical selections for the ceremony were performed by Jace Fogleman, vocalist, and Kip Faulk, organist and trumpeter.

Selected scriptures were read by Andrea Pinac and Mallory Miller Gaspard.

Escorted to the altar by her father, the bride was gorgeous in an ivory lace gown with a strapless sweetheart neckline. The gown featured a modified trumpet skirt with mesh organza under cotton lace appliques finished with a scalloped hemline. A belt of satin ribbon adorned with a beaded applique defined the dress at its natural waistline, and the back of the dress was finished with cloth-covered buttons.

For her headpiece, the bride selected a matching cathedral length ivory veil.

She carried a clutch bouquet of blush pink and white peonies.

Caitlin Smith Regan, friend of the bride, served as matron of honor.

Serving as bridesmaids were Erin Saal, Jennifer Lebeouf, Courtney Hanks Hebert, Diane Villejoin and Brittanye Coutee, friends of the bride; and Becky Bazzell, sister of the groom.

The bridal attendants wore full length navy chiffon gowns featuring strapless sweetheart necklines with overlapping pleats. They carried bouquets of white peonies and blush pink roses.

Leah Regan, the daughter of a friend, served as flower girl.

The groom selected his brother, David Randolph, to serve as best man.

Standing as groomsmen were Matt Lee, J.P. Beussink, Jim Lents, Luke Oliver and Dusty Barrows, friends of the groom; and David Broussard, brother of the bride.

Serving as ring bearers were Jude Broussard, nephew of the bride, and William Bazzell, nephew of the groom.

Following the ceremony, family and friends joined the newlywed couple for a reception at Le Grand Hall in Crowley.

The bride’s four-tiered round cake was decorated with a lace design on the top and third tiers. The second tier was adorned with an “R” monogram to represent the bride’s new last name. Each tier was made of a different flavor and filling and was decorated with a simple pearl scroll design around its base.

The groom’s red velvet cake was frosted with cream cheese icing and topped with an “M” representing the University of Missouri. The sides of the cake were iced with gold and black tiger stripes in honor of the school mascot.

Out-of-town guests registered from California, Georgia, Illinois, Missouri, New York, Tennessee, Texas and Washington.

On the evening prior to the wedding, the groom’s parents hosted a rehearsal dinner at The Warehouse in Rayne.

Following a wedding trip to Cancun, the couple will reside in Los Angeles.
