Hanks, Louvier to wed Oct. 16

Donald and Patricia Hanks of Crowley are pleased to announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Amanda Nicole Hanks of Crowley, to Jacob Howard Louvier of Crowley.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mary Richard and the late Levan Richard, and of the late Molear “Joe” and Mabel Alice Dubose Hanks, all of Crowley.
Amanda graduated from Northside Christian School in 2006 before attending McNeese State University, where she earned a bachelor’s degree in general studies in 2011. She is presently employed as a legal assistant for staff counsel at Safeway Insurance Co.
The prospective groom is the son of Randall Louvier of Crowley and Linda Gayle Benson of Springhill. His grandparents are the late Austin L. and Lynell B. Jennings of Taylor, Arkansas, and the late Howard Paul and Marva Morine Morgan Louvier of Crowley.
He attended Crowley High School and is currently a utility operator for Carbo Ceramics in New Iberia.
The couple will be wed on Friday, Oct. 16, during a 6 p.m. ceremony officiated by Rev. Randal Trahan of Northside Assembly of God at The Manor in New Iberia.
Following their wedding, they will reside in Rayne.
