Myers, Simon set to wed Saturday, June 6

April Julia Simon and Duncan Paul Myers, both of Crowley, have announced that they are engaged and committed to be wed on the evening of Saturday, June 6.
The bride-elect is the daughter of Annette and Joey Simon of Crowley. She is the granddaughter of Anes Thibodeaux of Morse and the late Rufus Thibodeaux, and of Irene Simon of Lyons Point and the late O’neil Simon.
April is a 2007 graduate of Notre Dame High School of Acadia Parish and is presently employed at Acadia General Hospital in Crowley.
The prospective groom is the son of Paulette and Skip Myers of Crowley. His maternal grandparents are the late Elizabeth and Vernon Ray “Tat” Duncan, and his paternal grandparents are Ray Lee Myers and the late Wilma Myers, all of Crowley.
Duncan is a 1998 graduate of Crowley High School and is currently employed with Tana Exploration.
Pastor Ryan Post of Northside Assembly of God in Crowley will officiate the 6 p.m. nuptials at The Warehouse Event Center in Rayne.
Following their marriage, the couple will reside in Crowley.
