Stark, Bitler to wed in Fort Walton Beach

Lynette and Blaine Miller of Crowley are pleased to announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Aimee Elizabeth Stark of Destin, Fla., to John Steven Bitler, also of Destin.

The bride-elect is also the daughter of the late Jay Stark of Crowley. She is the granddaughter of Priscilla and Kenneth Ducote of Crowley, and Helen Guillory Stark of Lafayette and the late James Stark.

Aimee graduated from Notre Dame High School of Acadia Parish in 2006 before enrolling at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette, where she earned a bachelor’s degree in elementary education in 2010. She is presently employed at Liza Jackson Preparatory School in Fort Walton, Fla.

The groom is the son of Steven Bitler of Gulf Breeze, Fla., and the late Lynne Bitler. His maternal grandparents are Dorothy Baker of Lansdale, Penn., and the late Guy Baker. His paternal grandparents are the late Barbara and John Bitler of Lansdale.

The prospective groom is a 2004 graduate of Sunrise Mountain High School in Phoenix, Ariz. He graduated from Northwest Florida State College’s Paramedic Program in 2013, and he is currently employed by Okaloosa County EMS in Destin.

The couple will be wed in Fort Walton Beach on March 21, 2015.
