AOC Community Media offers animation day camp

AOC Community Media will hold a four-day animation camp designed to introduce techniques used by today’s animation industry artists on July 21-24 from 9 a.m. to noon.

Students ages 12-17 can register for this camp for $100 per student.

Camp participants will dive deep into the rotoscope animation style by creating imagery overtop of original music videos frames.

The final result will be a collaborative animation achieved using similar tactics as a professional team of animators. At the end of the camp, students will screen their finished project and take home a copy of their work to show others.
