Crowley Art Association enjoys Thanksgiving luncheon, makes annual donation

At its November meeting and annual Thanksgiving luncheon, the Crowley Art Association (CAA) presented Crowley High School teacher Pat Johnson, left, with a donation to be used for the food distribution network she established for families of students in need at Thanksgiving and Christmas. The project was started by Johnson as a way for faculty members to give back to students, but has since expanded well beyond the faculty. The CAA annually collects donations from its members throughout the year and presents them to Johnson in November. Presenting the check was Robert Baxter, CAA president.
