Local engagement party honors Rayne couple

RAYNE - The Union Hall served as the setting on Saturday, Feb. 21, 2015, for an engagement party held in honor of Lauren Boudreaux and Justin DeRouen of Rayne.
The couple will be married on Saturday, April 11, 2015, during a 7 p.m. ceremony at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Rayne, followed by a reception at The Grand Opera House of the South in Crowley.
Lauren is the daughter of Damon and Joan Gatte of Lake Charles and Randal Boudreaux of Lake Arthur.
Justin is the son of Howard and Tina DeRouen of Rayne and Robert and Lisa Menard of Lafayette.
Hosting the 7 p.m. courtesy were Mona Meche, Laura Matte, Kristi Miller, Allison DeRouen, Monique Louviere, Amy DeRouen, Kellie Duhon, Jessica Menard, Michelle Koury, Dot Stelly, Eurella Cahanin, Joan Landry, Erin Spisak and Doug Spisak.
Amid a color decor of gold, green and white, refreshments served included chicken fettuccine, chicken strips, boudin, hot crab dip, shrimp mold, Mexican dip, cheese ball and crackers, fruit tray, vegetable tray, pinwheels and beverages.
