Rev. Taj Glodd celebrates first Thanksgiving Mass at St. Theresa

Fr. Taj Glodd, one of four men ordained to the priesthood for the Diocese of Lafayette on June 21, celebrated his first Mass of Thanksgiving on Sunday, June 22, at St. Theresa Catholic Church in Crowley.

Fr. Glodd, a native of Crowley, is the son of Zelma Glodd and the late Samuel Thomas Sr.

A lifelong parishioner of St. Theresa, he made history as the first parishioner to be ordained to the priesthood.

The Mass was immediately followed by a Eucharistic Procession around the church and a dinner reception held in the parish hall.
